What to Expect

Since a mini facelift is not as extensive as a full facelift, Dr. Boudreaux and Dr. Claiborne can use smaller incisions near the ears. These incisions are carefully placed to result in scars that are easily concealed in your hairline. Through the incisions, Dr. Boudreaux and Dr. Claiborne will access underlying tissue and gently tighten it into a more youthful position. Determining Your Candidacy

For the most natural-looking results, candidates should have sufficient skin elasticity. Since the procedure is designed to address the initial signs of aging throughout the lower portion of the face, most mini facelift candidates are in their 30s and 40s. Patients should be in good overall health, and have realistic expectations. The very best candidates are non-smokers, because nicotine can inhibit the healing process, compromising the aesthetic results.
