How Long Will My Recovery Take?
The typical body lift recovery usually requires two to three weeks away from work. During that time, it's important to take short walks each day to encourage proper blood flow, which helps you avoid blood clots and expedite healing. You should be able to resume most of your normal activities after a month to six weeks. It's important to remember that swelling may not fully subside for a year, but the majority of swelling will go down after about six weeks.
